The first three characters of the VIN code identify the manufacturer of the vehicle and the fourth and fifth characters indicate the type of vehicle. The sixth to eighth characters identify the vehicle model, the ninth character identifies the year of manufacture and the tenth character identifies the country of manufacture. Each VIN code is unique and no two vehicles can be found with the same code.

Entering the 17-character VIN number in our system allows you to know the history of the vehicle. Remember that the vehicle identifier does not contain the letters "I", "O!"and "Q".

The characters in positions 4-9 are referred to as the VDS(Vehicle Descriptor Section ) and indicate the model of the vehicle in question. Each manufacturer may design this designation as he chooses.
