The top of the trailer was painted dark green (Humbrol no. 3) according to real trailer. The pipes were picked out in silver.
Finally, after a total of 4 coats of Humbrol semigloss gray no. 126 the body of the tanker is almost 100% perfect. The tanker is waiting only for the green finish for the top and bottom part and additional parts (bumper, hazard signs, wheels).
After each coat of primer and finish the tanker body was checked for potholes. These were putted and smothed with wet abrasive paper.
The chassis of the trailer was completed per instructions. The side pannels were discarded, as the Topas trailer is going to be build as a common tanker. The central support leg was replaced with common dual legs. The completed trailer was given one coat of Humbrol grey primer.
The body of the tank was put together first. The parts were mated correctly, but a lot of putting and sanding was necessary too. The access ladder was moved from the rear part to the front of the tank.
